20 Years of Foundry
Faith - that really carries throughAll Germany rejoiced with us about the fantastic weather on that day. But not just the sun, also many many visitors, not few among them who had even come from far away, and all the helpers of our FCJG community made it a great and joyful anniversary.
Highlight was of course our special guest Peter Helms with an extraordinary message about faith that really carries through.
about Foundry
Foundry House Church Movement registered foundation was established in 1991. Having its roots in the Free Christian Youth Fellowship (FCKG) it sees itself as a part of the local Body of Christ.
The first house churches were founded with the goal to reach the people of our city with the good news, to gather them and teach them the basic truth of the bible. In the course of time a whole network of house churches developed all over the city. People from different denominational and social backgrounds meet here.
Besides, we regularly invite people to our breakfast meetings ("Meaty Breakfast"), Factory Fiests and special nights at the cultural center of our town ("Kulturhaus"). Through touching life stories, an entertaining program and yummy food we want to open their hearts for the excitement and joy of la life with Jesus.

Once or twice y year we conduct network meetings for leaders and pastors. These meetings want to further relationships and help sharing with one another what God is doing among various churches and communities.
Renate, one of our members, shares her personal experience with Foundry:
When I was very sick I experienced much help through the Foundry community. They actually carried me through this hard time by their prayers. I felt it deeply when things got worse in the beginning. And even now, when I am better, I can share my joy with others. They always helped me practically, taking me to places, doing my grocery, cleaning etc. There was so much I wasn't able to do anymore but there was always someone from my house church who would come to my aid."
