About us
Our drug rehabiltation center was established in 1977. Since then it's been our desire to see people delivered from their drug addiction. It is our goal as well, to help our "guests" (drug dependents) to build their life on a new foundation, for them not to lose the freedom again that they've just received.
It's both our conviction and experience that faith and a personal relationship to Jesus are the best basis for our lives. One, if not the important scriptuer of our minstry is written in the gospel of John 8:36: "If the son sets you free, you will be free indeed (in reality, continually)."
Ever since the foundation of our minstry most of our staff have come out of drug addiction themselves. They've experienced Jesus' deliberating power and thus long to see other addicts being set free as well.
We'd rather call ourselves a community than an organization, and try to create a family-like environment, living together as guests and staff. Thus the "guests" can easily learn from the staff. It is our main focus to lead each of our "guests" to a personal relationship with Jesus.
By living together as community, biblical teaching and counseling, we want to teach them to live with Jesus on a day-by-day basis. To deal with their past, face their own deficits, receive healing from hurts, are most important issues for them in order to be restored and rehabilitated.
Furthermore we want to help them to adjust to a new lifestyle other than their past, receive a positive perspective for their lives, have goals and both find and take their place in society. By dealing with their past and being restored they will be free to enter a new future.
The bible expresses it this way:
"If someone lives with Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, the fresh and new has come." II Corinthians 5:17
