Jesus on the Christmas market

What would happen, if the Christmas message about the Savior Jesus would be found again on the Christmas markets of Germany? Right now we experienced two wonderful days on the Lüdenscheid Christmas market. With creative elements like clownery, dance, puppet theatre, prophetic paintings, self made poems and pantomime we could tell the Christmas message about Jesus to children and adults in the public Christmas house.

“I love Jesus!” – this music could be heard all over the market place of Lüdenscheid. At the beginning of our creative program our dance group danced to this song of Carman. Artist Linde Hals invited the passengers of Lüdenscheid afterwards with a Rap into the Christmas house. All over the afternoon different people joined the program, listening carefully.

“The greatest gift” a clown-show of clown Luise made people smiling, but the deep message also touched their hearts. We painted encouraging paintings with a message from God for the visitors and handed them over to them afterwards. In between people told about their personal experiences with the Savior Jesus or packed them in to self made poems.

We experienced  many people with open hearts, who asked questions about Jesus, received prayer or wanted to invite Jesus personally into their lives. We also prayed for sick people. A lady on was moved to tears, because strong pain left.

On the second day many families and also groups from senior homes came to see the Christian “Maike –Puppet-Theatre” with children’s book writer Bärbel Löffel-Schröder. Many children wanted to express their friendship to Jesus afterwards, upholding red paper hearts or friendship cards. Great joy was in the whole Christmas house on both days!

The Christmas time is a great opportunity to speak in public about the savior Jesus. He is the true reason, why we celebrate Christmas. Please pray with us, that many people get to know Jesus personally during Christmas time!
