The music sounds and then it starts. Some kids are dancing slowly, moving their arms very gracefully, some are dancing full of passion and with all of their strength. One thing is common, everyone is performing a personal dance for Jesus and expressing his love for HIM.
On Saturday, the 30th of September, our forth Kids-Seminar “Tengerin Doo Kids” took place. As special guest the artist and dancer, Linde Hals, was invited. She encouraged the children to ask Jesus how to dance for him and start moving according to that.
A boy comment on that time, that he had never danced so wildly and that he even did not care anymore about what others were thinking about his perfomance for Jesus. It really ment lots of fun for him.
One of our desire is that the Holy Spirit can work among children, so that they experience change through Him and will be led into freedom.
In general we want to give space in times of worship for the Holy Spirit who loves to use all of us: " When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be done so that the church may be built up."(1 Cor. 14, 26).
There is a huge bandwidth how children, directed by the Holy Spirit, will express who Jesus is for them like in silence, prayers, songs or dances.
During worship one girl shared the impression that God wants to heal. As a result some of the kids and staff reported about their diseases and pain. The surrounding kids directly laid hands on them and 8 person received complete healing or a physical improvement.
These experiences correspond to our deep desires for the kids conference "Burning Hearts Kids" next year at Pentecost: Children from all different backgrounds shall experience God`s love and power to be fully led into his freedom. The Holy Spirit loves to have relationship to children and to become their friend. He wants to use them to establish the kingdom of God.
