Valentines day - what an amazing opportunity to reach out and to share the love of God.
After spending time in the presence of God we received different inspiration from the Holy Spirit where to go and how to approach people. Some of us felt to distribute flowers or chocolate to people on the streets. Another group had the impression to go to a supermarket and others wanted to go to elderly people. Our group felt to sing the good thoughts of God over people that we would meet in the city. Equipped with different instruments we started worshipping and it became a powerful time because the presence of God was there. People stopped by and watched us amazed. A 5 Year old girl found an empty spot in our circle and just started to dance, while we were singing for her of the joy of the Lord. It was great. After some time my friend and me went together to an old church in Lüdenscheid because my friend had the impression to go there. I saw a young lady coming and I felt that the Holy Spirit wanted to bless her. So I asked her if we can sing over her. She accepted and my friend started to play the violin. We didn't even come to the point of singing for her because the woman already deeply was touched by the love of God. We asked her if she would like to have a relationship with Jesus and to invite him into her heart. She immediately said “yes”!
People open up if they encounter and experience the love of God. That was what happened this Valentine day: A precious person was caught by the love of God!
