Who we are
FCJG (Free Christian Youth Community) is a missions community with the goal of making Jesus known everywhere and making his freedom tangible. The words, "Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and everything else will be given to you" (Matthew 6:33) express the heartbeat of our community: We live in dependence on God, for him and his kingdom, and experience how he adds everything else that's needed. Our passion is for people to have a personal encounter with Jesus and be saved, healed and set free. And then be filled with the Holy Spirit and his power, so that they in turn can pass on this godly life to others, as we see displayed in the Gospel of Jesus. In everything, our foundation is always the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and his grace and love. This is reflected in the communal life of FCJG and in the commission to meet the needs of people living in poverty and bondage.

Our history
The FCJG (Free Christian Youth Community) emerged in the mid-1970s from the Jesus People movement. Walter and Irene Heidenreich joined in 1977 and soon took over the leadership. Over the past decades, FCJG has developed into a non-denominational and active faith and missions movement. In addition to the ministry in Lüdenscheid, we also have mission bases abroad, overseen by our missions branch HELP International.
In 2022, the leadership of FCJG and HELP International was transferred to Arion Roffler and thus to a new generation.
Leadership
Arion Roffler
Arion has been the senior leader of FCJG Lüdenscheid and HELP International since May 2022. He is following in the footsteps of Walter Heidenreich and leading the community to the next stage of what God has in store. Arion is from Switzerland and has lived in Lüdenscheid since 2014. His life is centered around one passion: more of God, more of God's power, healings, signs and wonders. None of this is theory for him, but he lives these things and walks boldly and courageously in the power of the Holy Spirit. Arion is married to Lydia and together they are living for Jesus and serving in his kingdom – each in their God-given calling and with their unique gifts.
