Moving into the Missions-house of our FCJG community here in Lüdenscheid was truly a big favor that we are so thankful for; as it was clearly a God-given opportunity and step to take, by faith, towards the direction of our calling into full-time mission again. This enabled us to live in community once more and share our lives together on a daily basis with others who have the same heart for missions, what a privilege!
As time went by, God confirmed our steps even more as he started to raise up some more friends who are willing to stand behind us in prayer and finances as we pursue our calling in mission and evangelism in this city. My wife and I, eventually sensed that it's time to take not just another step but a leap of faith to resign from my job in the Metal Firm last Summer, and go 100% into the harvest field; trusting that God will prove Himself faithful, as always, in everything that we need moving forward as a family with 3 kids. So, here we are now on full-time mission again.
These past 4 months alone have been a fruitful start for us. We were able to reach out to people in the city in numerous outreaches as a whole community during our Burning Hearts Summer conferences and furthermore after. People came to know Jesus and got saved, others received healing, and many were encouraged through prophetic impressions in those times. God did so many great things!
I am from the Philippines and as a Filipino who came to know Jesus through German missionaries from HELP , being able to give back to this nation, its people especially the young generation, is truly a great blessing! Wherever God leads and sends His people, there is nothing and no place better than to be in His will and to experience what He can do while you move with Him. It is our desire that many more people will come to know Jesus in our city and that through His grace and power this city will experience a real and lasting change.
