"The Wiedenhof in Lüdenscheid is a wonder house. If it didn't exist, it would have to be invented. A place of freedom, healing and the Holy Spirit. Super staff and a fantastic church service on Saturday evenings. Jesus is alive!"

FCJG Horizon
Our rehab "Haus Wiedenhof" has now been around for over 40 years. Again and again we experience that people who are trapped in drugs or alcohol addiction are set free and completely turned around by the love and power of God - and that sustainably!
In very practical terms, we live our daily lives, consisting of devotional times, working hours, personal conversations and leisure time activities, together in a family atmosphere. Within this framework of security and growing trust in one another, we experience how the Holy Spirit sovereignly or in common life heals old hurts, brings reconciliation, frees us from addictions and above all gives us a new perspective on life.
If you too have problems with gambling, drug and alcohol addiction and are looking for a way out, please feel free to contact us.
With God there are no lost causes!
After 19 years of drug and alcohol addiction, countless psychiatric and hospital stays without hope of recovery, I landed at Wiedenhof seven years ago. Life in this "extended family", whose goal is to expect everything from the love of God (even for the worst cases), has changed my life.
Today I am free and live and work in the FCJG community.
I would not be here if Wiedenhof had not taken me in.
It is a place where miracles happen.

For me, Wiedenhof is a place where you can get new perspective and hope. If you have run your life into the wall, you can become free from addictions and get to know God, who has a good plan for you.

History of origins
1972 Pastor Paul Deitenbeck celebrates his birthday in the hotel "Haus Wiedenhof". At the same time, the first drug-related death in Lüdenscheid is found on the 2nd floor of the hotel. Spontaneously, the birthday party becomes a prayer meeting for the growing drug problem. As an answer to prayer, a short time later "Jesus-People" are found who are moved by the love of God and want to use the Wiedenhof for a drug rehabilitation center. Thus, the Lüdenscheid hotel "Haus Wiedenhof" is turned into a home for drug addicts. On October 19, 1975, the association "FCJG" is founded. The rehab work in the former Hotel Wiedenhof begins in January 1976 with three employee couples and four drug addicts. Walter and Irene Heidenreich move into the Wiedenhof as a staff couple in 1977 and take over the rehab work 1 year later. For 10 years they lead and develop a rehab concept - Living with the Holy Spirit - which has proven itself until today.
