Crowned.
»... and he crowns me with love and tender mercy. He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle's.« (Ps. 103:4-5)True Greatness.
»I tell you the truth, of all who have ever lived, none is greater than John the Baptist. Yet even the least person in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he is!« (Matth. 11:11)Glory and Honour.
»What are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them? Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honour. You gave them charge of everything you made, putting all things under their authority.« (Ps. 8,4-6)Wonderfully made.
»You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous - how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.« (Ps. 139,13-15)His thoughts over us are peace.
»For I know the plans I have for you,« says the Lord. »They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and hope.« (Jer. 29,11)God is for you!
That's the Good News we are preaching to people in the nations, regardless of their nationality, religious belief, language or complexion. It's the best message there is! God has loved the world so much that he himself became man to save mankind. Jesus says, »Whoever sees me, sees the Father.« God is for you! His birth as man, his death at the cross of Calvary and his resurrection from the dead give evidence of his love to us.In a couple of days we are celebrating Christmas - Jesus Christ was born more than 2000 years ago. We are wishing you God's unique blessing over your life: This God of love wants you, he has embraced you and he loves you.
