Be the answer -
that is the goal of the school. That you come here, being trained and equipped to go where God sends you. This preparation to work in the Kingdom of God is a holistic training, which is why we are a practical bible school, where there is always room to directly implement what you have heard. The REVIVAL SCHOOL is a full-time school, where we not only experience lessons together, but also work together, eat together, live in one room and so on. This year should be a year where you meet God deeply and experience how He changes you and sends you at the same time. In all this, the Holy Spirit makes the difference for us. So we do have a curriculum, guest speakers, plans etc. but are always open to flexibility to follow what God is emphasizing. We as a team of co-workers want to support you and simply make room for God to work. And this is how it will look like in practice:
Sessions & Curriculum
Every day we have sessions as a whole school where we are before God. These times can look very different and are all part of our curriculum. Whether it's corporate worship, teaching, revival groups or anything else, it's all an important part of what makes the school what it is. And should create space for you to grow in all areas!
Everything we believe and do is based on what we read in the Bible. Therefore, our teaching units are an important part of the school. During the year we go through a variety of topics that lay a foundation for your life so that God can build on it. Living like Jesus, fatherhood, identity, baptism in the Spirit, living in the power of the Holy Spirit, discipleship, mission today, are just some of them. The teachings are held by our colorful staff team and are also supported by various guest speakers throughout the year. We have Walter Heidenreich, Wes Hall, Mike Chance, Mel Tari, Petra Feddersen, Birgit Janke and some others with us for a time - it is always a privilege to learn from mothers and fathers!
Another pillar of our spiritual meetings is worship. We are called to worship the Father in spirit and in truth and for this we also take a lot of space in the school. Everyone is encouraged to be a part of it, because everyone has something. Personal worship is a key, but also to grow in worshipping over cities, nations and groups of people and to release the prophetic vision of God through worship. If you have worship on your heart and want to grow in leading worship, whether in sessions or on the street, as well as in prophetic worship, there are many opportunities to try it, to be coached and take responsibility!
The Revival Groups are a framework where we divide into smaller cells, deepening the topics we heard in teachings and share with each other. One key in the Kingdom of God is always to move forward together and that is what we want to train in these groups - to be authentic, to live in the light and to encourage each other. Because we can always learn from each other. For personal counseling and mentoring, a staff member is also available to accompany you in personal mentoring.
Worshiping God always brings us to our knees. For therein lies power! "Lord, teach us to pray", is therefore an important part of the school, which we implement together and come before God in prayer. Accompanied by teaching and experiences with prayer, you will grow in moving things with God in prayer.
Evangelism and Missions
"Therefore go!" - Everything we do has this one goal, to be equipped to go. And of course this should not only happen after the school year, but is an active part throughout the year on different levels. Because evangelism and mission are nothing else but to pass on God's love and to see that others come into his kingdom. And not through words alone, but through the power of the Holy Spirit. We love to go out into the streets with the gifts of the Spirit and see how God touches, changes, heals and liberates hearts! In the streets of our cities as well as at the ends of the earth.
You will be part of an evangelistic group that takes place weekly, where you either go out into the streets in groups, worship prophetically in the streets or invest in youth or children. These are times where you can share what you experience with God and which are also a training ground to simply try out and grow in going into the harvest with the Holy Spirit.
Take it to the Streets
In addition to the mission circles, we also go on the streets as a whole school. Either in our city or in the surrounding cities, with the focus on lifting up Jesus above cities but also simply to meet people and bring his love to them. In these outreaches it is important to us that we are flexible and follow the impulses of the Holy Spirit - giving you have a lot of room to grow!
A highlight of the year are the international outreaches. We are a school for full-time ministry and mission, and learning by doing is therefore very important to us. These outreaches take place in small teams, mainly in Asia and Europe and last for 3 months. This is where we put what we learnt at the school into practice on the mission field.
Living in Community
Where is discipleship most practical? In life with other people. That's why living together is at the heart of our community, because that's where you definitely learn the most - first and foremost about yourself! Whether in the work area, in the room or in other everyday encounters, that's where the training happens, which goes straight to the heart. This is the best form of discipleship because it is applied and first of all it changes our hearts. That is why living together is as important a part of your training as all the inputs - because: "By loving each other they will know that you are my disciples.
We live together and there is work to do as well. You will be a part of a working team and you will be able to serve in a practical way but you will also be able to move forward in the team. Often we experience that this is exactly the place where God changes hearts - because he likes to use other people for this purpose, who may be completely different from us. The best mission preparation!
It is a privilege to be on the road together and you should discover this treasure in your room. We have rooms for 2 or 3 people where you will be accommodated and where good fellowship and growing together is guaranteed.
... to live as a big family also means a lot of good fellowship and fun! No matter if on common excursions, spontaneous actions or sunbathing together - being on the road as a family and not only sharing "lessons", but our whole life is simply an absolute privilege!
The REVIVAL SCHOOL is a part of the "Freie Christliche Jugendgemeinschaft
" (FCJG) and "HELP International
". This means that you will not only become part of the school community but also part of an international family - in Lüdenscheid and far beyond. Meetings with the whole community are also integrated into our everyday school life. Whether it's services, family evenings, mission prayer or other things, you will meet many people and experience first-hand what it can look like to live as a full-time servant in the Kingdom of God. Even if we can't go to all nations within a year, you will hear from our missionaries and have a share in what is happening in the nations and opportunities to become active yourself. As HELP International
we have different ministries abroad, which also offer the possibility to take further steps towards mission after school.
Get to know us
There are also other opportunities to get to know the Revival School including The Special weeks
or an Experience Week
. The best option is the year-long school as we want to equip you for full-time ministry and mission, but it's also possible to join the REVIVAL SCHOOL for one or multiple months throughout the year to get to know us more.
