During the Holy week, we brought the Cross to the midst of the city square to worship and honor Jesus and publicly preach the Gospel of salvation out loud. Moreover, 3 of young people boldly shared their faith and testimonies to the crowd…

Many of those who heard the Good News were encouraged and touched by the Savior’s Love. The people who were hanging out in the square, even in the cafes and restaurants nearby clearly heard the worship, testimonies and preaching. Some passers-by even stopped and drew near to listen. God only knows how many hearts truly responded to the opportunity He gave them to repent and receive His salvation on those days. For some we could tell more as we were able to share one on one and pray with them.

A lady from a political party, that was also there campaigning for the coming elections, drew near and spoke with Tanja, one of our missionaries. As they conversed, she honestly admitted that she had no peace. And upon hearing the Gospel, she became even more open to receive from God. As Tanja prayed for her, she cried and was deeply touched, and said that she will really move that decision to invite Jesus into her heart…

Another man also came closer to us as he got caught in what was happening. He was really touched by God’s presence and love during this time. Benno (one of us) noticed him and was able to share and pray with him. This young man said he also believes in Jesus and that he was actually looking for a Church here in the city as he just moved in and was new in town. Benno then invited him to our worship service to which he actually came hungry for more of God, who  encountered him in this time again.

People are responding to the Gospel as we go to them; to those that the Father has drawn. We are going for more…

John 4:35-38
Don’t you have a saying, 'It's still four months until harvest'? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. Even now the one who reaps draws a wage and harvests a crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together. Thus the saying 'One sows and another reaps' is true. I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor."
