At the end of last year we experienced the faithfulness of God in a wonderful way, and are excited to share the news with you:

Donation of Land

Nine years ago, William, a business man from Austin, bought the 10 acre property we are based on, and let us use it for free for all these years. What a tremendous blessing! But in order to move ahead with planning - and the subsequent building on the land- the importance of owning the land became more obvious. We have been praying about owning the land for some time. This year we met with William two times to discuss the arrangement with the land. Initially, he was willing to sell the property to us for US$ 250,000 even though the value of the property is more than US$ 300,000. When the offer was first presented, we didn't have any money , but whenever we prayed, we sensed that God wanted us on that land, and that He would give it to us. It was also on our hearts to continue to believe and pray for a donation, even though it seemed unlikely.

Vorwaertsgehen 03

Then, on December 14, one day after all the Revival School on the Move leaders from the nations had arrived to meet with us, we received an email from William: »Merisha, I have good news. God has blessed my family and me financially. As a result, I am in a position to transfer the title of the property over to Help for all Nations as a gift, at no cost to your organization. My attorney is preparing the paperwork to do this. All praise belongs to God who provides!«

Vorwaertsgehen 04

What a miracle! What a God! He answers our prayers, and He moves hearts as He pleases! We are so thankful for this and look forward to see how God will continue to move. This is His land! And this is our victory – thank you for agreeing with us in prayer!

Vorwaertsgehen 05

Next steps

Now that we officially own the land, there are some important things that need to be done:

Administration: We have to get insurance for the property, apply for property tax exemption, get a professional survey of the land, etc.

Vorwaertsgehen 06

Masterplan: We are also in the process of finalizing the masterplan, and putting together a brochure to present the vision in a very practical way.

Septic System: We need US$ 35,000 to install a sufficient septic system and drain-field on the property. This needs to happen before we build anything else. The plans are ready, and we have someone to put it in. We are still US$ 5,000 short.

Donation towards the Septic System

If you would like to support us with the costs of the septic system and laying the foundations of future building projects on our property, you can do it here:

A new Season

In this new time, we need prayer support, practical help, and local people to join our team in bringing the vision to life. Can you envision becoming part of what God is doing here? If so, please reach out to us. We also have several areas where we are in need of practical help: administration, accounting, building projects, landscaping, and more. We look forward to sharing more with you in the coming months about our plans for the property, and to tell of the GREAT wonders of God. He is good!

Those words popped up in my head every time we prayed for the coming weeks. With great expectation of how this »Miracle Month« would look like, we did our last preparations for a warm welcome to our guests.

Asian Teenager

And then they came: twelve Chinese children and teenagers from Austin looking forward to experience country life as something special. They came with open hearts and hard-working hands, and the time was full of laughter, playing and deep encounters with each other and God. The time went way too fast as we had to say goodbye again to our new friends.

Miracle March 07a No Compromise 03

And the Holy Spirit

The next team arrived from California to share life with us for one week. Some adults and a few teenagers with half of them of Asian background. Together we tried gardening and got to know a lot about the cactus family and agave. We started the journey to get to know the Holy Spirit better and opened our hearts to Him. What happened next was just the Holy Spirit at His best. Hearts with protective walls and defence got softened through love and acceptance. There was pure and true fellowship instead of carrying masks and hiding. The Holy Spirit connected us to God and to each other. By making room for God’s presence, everyone had their own special encounter.

Miracle March 05a

He is real

We had some precious experiences: »I felt like lifted up«, said J. (14 years). »I felt so much peace.« C. (12 years)
B. saw an angel in front of our Lifehouse and painted a picture about this never-ending love of God. The highlight of the week was activating the impression to wash each other’s feet. Everyone felt the love of God and the presence of the Holy Spirit and we all knew: something special has taken place!

Miracle March 04a Miracle March 03a

He sets us free

Gabi, our visitor for several weeks, wrote: »I wanted God to do something big and spectacular in my life which He did, just in a different way than expected. By the end of my time here, Holy Spirit showed me things in my heart … a lot that took the honor Jesus deserves, because deep inside I wanted to do all in my own strength. With Angelina being my witness and help, I confessed everything to God and asked forgiveness. That was huge! Not because it felt nice, but because it was obedience.«

Miracle March 08a

Human hearts

So many different people, different stories - still God writes them all. Is there anything more precious than a human heart? Are there bigger miracles than human hearts changed by the Holy Spirit? What a privilege, to build a place for young people to get changed forever. As I am thinking about it now, I am reminded that we also received a donation of $ 5,000 this month. Wooow! Thank you for this miracle, Jesus!
... crowded streets, deafening music, hundreds of bands hoping to be spotted by any producer, hundreds of thousands of young people from all over the world seeking meaning in life, a 14-day-event of extremes. In March during the »South by Southwest Music Festival« - America’s biggest music and movie festival - Austin was in a state of emergency. What a great chance to take the Gospel where it belongs: to the streets, right where the people are. We were an international mix of people from FCJG's community in Lüdenscheid and leaders from our HELP bases (Vienna, Thailand, Mongolia, the Philippines), and together we went to the streets - in all simplicity but filled with faith and boldness. Once we get moving, wonderful things are happening.

Grace

Grace is a young girl that volunteered at SXSW. She didn’t know Jesus at all. When we started to talk to her, she opened her heart. We explained the meaning of her name and shared our testimonies. She was all alert and listened carefully. Someone had a word of knowledge which fitted her situation. When we asked if she wanted to get to know Jesus, she answered, »YES!« She prayed and for the very first time gave her heart and life to Jesus. What a miracle. Thank you, Jesus!

The Devil’s Dancefloor

»It all felt like stepping on the devil’s dancefloor. However, it’s so powerful to be light in such places, to worship Jesus, to declare the power of God, and to take a whole city by the Spirit. The darkness is massive, but the light is exceeding more powerful. Every day, people were drawn by the presence of God and experienced the Holy Spirit in different ways. Some got healed, others were delivered. Some gave their lives to Jesus. It was awesome.« (Thomas, Germany)

Eyes fixed on Jesus

»It was mind-blowing to experience God using me, especially in worship. Despite the things that tried to draw my attention and intimidate me, I learnt to fix my eyes on Jesus and on Jesus alone and to expect him to speak to me. Throughout this outreach I sensed that he was using me so powerfully in the area worship – it was so cool.« (Anna, Germany)

»Though things were wild and tough, I often sensed the sweet presence of Gof and could literally see an open heaven over Austin.« (Trujit, Thailand)

An Army of Worshippers

»Austin is desperate for an army of worshippers and evangelists who go to the streets, pray for the sick and bless people. This city is at the fringe to a mighty breakthrough, a revival. Now is the time to invest. God wants to do mighty things in Texas! Merisha and her team are radical lovers of Jesus who live to see this vision fulfilled, therefore it’s just right to support this ministry, no matter the effort. I was so encouraged and strengthened by this outreach and I am definitely coming back. This was only the beginning.« (Tom, Mongolia)

Yes, we believe and are looking forward to the mighty things God is going to do in Austin. Perhaps you are going to be part of it, too!
A missionary from Asia going to America? This must simply be a God-idea!

In Manila

Mariana comes from the Philippines and is getting ready to join our Texas team in 2018. She was a drug-addict and lived in the streets of Manila. Through the rehab of our missions branch in the Philippines she became free and experienced how Jesus is able to renew a once devastated life. All she wanted was to extend this hope and love of Jesus to others - immediately. She became staff and later was one of the senior leaders and invested over 20 years in hundreds of children, teenagers and young people who have found a new home at the Father's House.

New Adventures

Mariana from the Philippines is planning to come and join our team in Texas for the next few years to help build up our mission base over here. God called her - and she is willing and determined to go. At the age of retirement she is taking the step to leave everything behind, move to a new country, and jump into a pioneer situation. Take two minutes to listen to her heart and her story:

Pray and Share

Please pray for everything to be released (especially visa and finances) so that she can come this summer. If it’s on your heart to support her financially as she is taking this big step of faith, you can send us an eMail.

We are super excited to welcome her here as our first team member from Asia and to advance the kingdom of God together - old and young side by side.
Walking alongside Jesus and submitting everything to him is not a one-time experience. It’s a life-long process to get to know him, his grace and love in a deeper and more intimate way. There are moments when God challenges us to take distinct steps, and this could be anywhere. Rico a young man from our community in Germany, spent three months with us in Austin and experienced the following:

Simple Obedience 04

You are my son

»Before I left for the US, God spoke to me about getting baptized again. Actually I got baptized when I was 15, however, I had felt compelled to do it again. Well, you know what it is like ... I forgot about it. When arriving in Texas, God made me to face this issue again and he challenged me to grapple with the baptism. It was the first service I attended in Texas, and it was all about this one topic – baptism. I sensed that it was about time to take this step once more and said YES to God. I wanted to lay down my whole life and my heart before him. I was so desperate for Jesus. So I went into the baptism pool. Shortly after the baptism – I was still standing in the water with my eyes closed – I heard God say: »You are my son, whom I love and whom I have pleasure in!« I received those words and then a good friend who stood at my side prayed these exact words over me, too, thus confirming what God said. I sensed God’s presence and mercy rest upon me in such a strong and mighty way. Thank you, Jesus!«

Simple Obedience 03

Pride

God gives us these moments in which he knocks at our heart’s door and challenges us to give everything unto him. Even though it might cost us all and often times clashed with our pride, simple obedience will take us beyond our human limits and draw us deeper into God’s presence. And it’s there that he is waiting with arms wide open to welcome us as his sons and daughters. Isn’t this better and so much more fulfilling than holding on to our own ideas and pride?
Life is making history compiled of stories that individuals live through. Today, we want to introduce Jonathon to you who is living with us for some time:

Somewhere in Texas

Jonathon was born in Galveston, a Texan through and through. His parents are of Mexican descent, however, his father moved out while he was very young, so he grew up without a father figure. Despite this missing influence in his life, his mother did a good job raising her two sons. Jonathon grew up into a young man that the world would call normal. He worked and was hanging out: partying, using drugs and booze to enjoy life. Yet, it all left a gaping hole in his life which got even worse when he moved to Austin and got involved in the Sixth Street party scene. Despite the downward spiral, he knew in his heart of hearts that this wasn't it and was searching ...

Folge mir nach 03

At the turning point

Four years ago, he started going to church and finally had a glimpse of what he was longing for. He realized it was a life lived with and for Jesus. He accepted Jesus into his life, gave up his partying and just knew that he was finally on the right track. A friend took him along to our Revival Night - where young people who are hungry for more, gather to worship Jesus as they are led by the Holy Spirit. He felt God's presence here and so, he came again and again. He spent weekends working on the property with others, worshipping Jesus together or in public during evangelistic outreaches on Sixth Street.

Walking on water

This was it, he knew that this was what his heart was seeking - to have Jesus in the center, with everything revolving around Him.
Now that he'd found it, was he willing to pay the price for it? His answer was yes and soon the first test came. »Leave your nets and follow me«, Jesus told the first disciples in Matthew 4:19. Jonathon knew God was speaking to him. After much prayer, he gave up his job and in December, he moved in with us with a longing for more of God and all that He has for him. Given such a foundation, the Holy Spirit didn't waste any time. After only one week, Jonathon experienced his first financial miracle and knew that he was on the right path. As more time went by, a desire started to grow in him: to preach the gospel to the lost.
»And he said to them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.« (Matthew 14:19-20)

Howdy! Our three-week Texas Revival Tour 2016 is over. Walter Heidenreich and Merisha Janke travelled Texas, visited old friends and made a number new, the spoke in services and meetings and one thing was unique: God powerfully moved in all these meetings. Revival in Texas and Germany was constantly on the agenda.

Three weeks Texas

Looking back on the three weeks of Walter's and my revival tour in Texas fill me with gratefulness and joy. Everywhere we went, we encountered hearts that were ready, open doors and primed paths. It was so awesome to find out how deep the revival roots in Texas have grown and to acknowledge that God is igniting a new revival fire. On this tour, we saw a new spiritual hunger arise in so many, some received the Holy Spirit for the very first time, got baptized and said YES to Jesus Great Commandment. As you will read further down in Walter's report, there were approx. 100 people at our Night of Vision on the HELP for all Nations property. We spent a time to behold in the presence of God. When we shared why we have come to Austin as missionaries and what our hearts are burning for, some were choked up.

The simple Gospel

We want to reach Austin with the simple Gospel – the love and power of God. We want to see a young generation laying down their lives for Jesus alone. It would be so awesome if you came on board of our team! We want to invite you to take that what God is doing here on your heart and to live for a while with us, to pray for us, to donate towards our ministries. Only if we stand together, God's vision for Austin will come alive!
Merisha Janke

Taking first steps in Austin

When in 1996 I set foot for the first time on the grounds of the University of Texas to speak to a bunch of students, I didn't dare to dream that we might ever send missionaries to the USA. However, the Holy Spirit fell in power on those students. Walking the campus after his powerful experience, I suddenly got confronted with a disturbing reality on the street outside the campus: There were hundreds of young people living in the streets bearing life without any hope or perspective. Within minutes, I had two very contradictive scenes in front of me – both in the same town at the same time. Through this and further encounters God commissioned us to send missionaries to Austin, TX.

William Chan

The first team consisted of two Swiss married couples and one German. They went to Austin to serve the many broken, young people on the Drag (a street in Austin close to the University) and at the Rainbow Festivals. However, a couple of years later, a friend provided us with a wonderful property which already had a few houses. He got in touch with our team during the relief works on the occasion of hurricane Kathrina. The love and dedication he saw in those three couples made that much an impact on him that he wanted to support the ministries of HELP for all Nations. The team moved to the property, continued to do outreaches and opened their doors wide to anybody who wanted to come. At the same time, however, the ministry developed that much that it became time for expansion and a generational handover.

Night of Vision

For six months, Merisha Janke and team have been continuing the ministry of HELP for all Nations. Within now time relationships to churches, leaders and pastors in Texas developed. It is a joy to see the body of Christ getting closer together – more than ever before. I spent three weeks with our present team in Austin and can testify one thing for sure, that there is a new time for Texas and the ministries of HELP for all Nations. Merisha and I literally went on a revival tour and ministered to many churches and groups: in the San Antonio area, Houston, San Marcos. Lindale and Austin, of course. No matter where we went, everywhere the Holy Spirit moved in power. One highlight was die Night of Vision on the HELP for all Nations property to which some 100 leaders, pastors and staff of churches from the Austin area gathered. We spent hours sharing how God called us to Austin and the vision we have. This Night of Vision was impacted by powerful unity in the Spirit and the wonderful presence of God.

Revival

Another highlight was the live interview at The Bridge – a local Christian radio station in Austin. A fantastic programme, great questions, an excellent team and a mutual vision: Revival! Everywhere we went revival was always on the agenda – revival in Texas and in Germany. Revival is our heartbeat, we are praying for it, we are worshiping Jesus over it and we want to unconditionally and without compromise be available to the Holy Spirit for what he wants to do in Texas.

The Bridge Studio

If you want to help us to establish this revival base, you are most welcome to help us in Austin. I would like to thank all the churches, pastors, ministries and people who welcomed us on our revival tour. Thank you, Merisha, for doing such a good job in preparing this tour and the great time with you. The Holy Spirit is making new revival history in Texas.

»Go into all the world ...« With Jesus' Command in their luggage, lots of expectaiton and hearts full of love for God and people, a team of 15 from FCJG Lüdenscheid came to Austin. What a family gathering. Young and youngsters came with big suitcases and zest for action eager to find out what would happen. It was such a powerful time we had - for the Lüdenscheiders who supported us so wonderfully on our property by doing practical work, with worship and during our outreaches. They went everywhere with us. And last, they were a blessing to our HfaN team. It's always very special when »family« comes ... This team was ready for anything ... so great!

Capitol and University of Texas

Thursday, October 12, 2017 – The Capitol of Austin is the place where decisions are made; it affects not only Texas but influences and is a model for all America and even the world. On Wednesday, we went to pray and worship at the park surrounding it because we believe that our prayers and worship are a necessary tool to change cities and nations into the plans and good will of God for its citizens. As we lifted up the name of Jesus over this place, God gave us impressions, i.e. that worship topples down idols and places God on the throne that only He deserves. We felt that God wants to install regular worship at this place, and it would also come from within its walls. Later we ended up in an intensive time of intercession. God gave us a picture that He wants to bless the Capitol with an outpouring of oil and fire (both being symbols of the Holy Spirit and His presence) - oil to heal and restore and fire to cleanse and lead into repentance.

Later we went to the University of Austin (UT) to pray. There are 80,000 youth studying here from every nation of the world and we felt the Father's love for them. He wants to reveal His wisdom, His plans and His ways for their lives and we felt, that the University will be a place where young people will get to know Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. God will respond to their hunger and search for the meaning of life.

6th Steet

Friday, October 13, 2017 – The whole outreach team was looking forward to the evening on 6th Street in downtown Austin. We had all heard stories about the famous party street and were excited to see what the Holy Spirit would do. We didn't have to wait long. As we started to worship in tongues, we were quickly into deep, glorious worship. As God's presence came down, the heavens opened up and we were carried on wave after wave of His love and holiness. Passers-by, on foot and in cars, couldn't help but stop and ask what was going on. Their minds could not grasp what their spirits were reacting to. Some Christians stopped and inquired as well; as they had not experienced such a thing in a public place before. We had good talks and weird encounters, too. Strange people also showed up to try to create distraction ... but »when the Light comes, the darkness has to flee« or be silent ... and they were. We are claiming this land for Jesus; and »step by step we're moving forward«!

Revival Night

Saturday, October 14, 2017 – God loves it when Christiand from diffrent churches come together with a single goal: to worship Jesus in the Spirit and in truth! This is exactly what happened at the Revival Night. Fifty people - Americans, Germans, Swiss, Austrian, Indian, Finnish and Filipino gathered in the Lifehouse with great hunger to encounter God during worship! Some of them never experienced worshipping in tounges and were later baptized in the Holy Spirit for the first time. The presence of God spread throughout the whole room. Some people were kneeling, others lifted up their hands and again others experienced the Holy Spirit filling their lives afresh. Our outreach team could serve them with prophetic words which really ministered to them. Some responded to Merisha's altar call for a life totally surrendered to Jesus, to follow Him without compromise and recieved prayer. This should happen more often ... this paves a path for revival to come!

San Marcos Community Church

Monday, October 16, 2017 – What a privilege to have been invited to the Mission Prayer evening of the San Marcos Community Church. Not only were we invited to share testimonies but to ›take‹ the whole evening. It was obvious that a very good relationship had developed, for them to entrust the entire evening to us. As Petra opened the evening with worshipping in tongues, it created a spiritual room for hearts to open wide for the Holy Spirit to move. There was a hush in the atmosphere as we shared about our international fellowship and personal testimonies. Everyone realized that the prophetic impressions we received individually for the church were all in the same direction: The fire of the Holy Spirit for the nations! One lady said she saw angels on the stage with us! As we spread out around the church to pray, many came for prayer or a prophetic word ... some even going from one to the other! Normally they would end the night after an hour, but this time many lingered, hungry for a touch, refreshing, a confirmation, or direction from God! We all left that place blessed, filled and encouraged - flying high with our beloved Holy Spirit and wanting more!

„What starts here changes the World“ – says the slogan of the University of Texas in Austin. And I so much desire to see this to happen. Austin shall become a city where young people from many nations gather, get trained and are sent out to take true and remaining transformation into this world.
May I introduce myself? I am Merisha, 25 years old and in January 2014 God spoke to me which led to making a decision to go to Texas. I feel so privileged to continue in Austin what started through a team a couple of years ago.

A Home for God

I am determined: The only thing that works transformation that remains in a person’s life is a one-on-one encounter with the only living God. Therefore this world needs places where the presence of God has highest priority above all else. Austin shall become a place like that.
A place where we are going after the presence of God with everything we have and are!
A place where Jesus alone is the center of everything, and where the foundation for all development is worship and prayer!
A place where we totally depend on the Holy Spirit in how we start, design and close each day!
A place where we totally count on signs and miracles happening today, and where literally everything is possible with God!
A place where every dot of the word of God is our only standard!
A home for God!

A Home for People

In this place, we don’t want to promote any ministry but live together as family, sharing our lives and people shall acknowledge that we belong to Jesus because of the love we have for one another. Furthermore, we want to open our hearts and doors to people from all nations and any walk of life.

Walk in your Destiny

My heart is burning for people to get to know Jesus the way he really is and to live up to their destiny as sons and daughters of God. I am willing to invest my life so that young people experience this; especially those who are facing the shambles of their lives and know God only from hearing – if at all. They shall experience God’s unconditional love and his transforming power and pass it on to others.

We need you!

Throughout the years, God has spoken to many people about this vision in reference to our estate. Right now a team of young people is getting together that is taking hold of exactly these promises and that is willing to go. I will be the first of this team going to Austin. In the first few weeks a team of the GET READY School will support me, and later other people to whom God has spoken to join this vision will come to Texas, too. In order to bring this vision to live we are desperate for friends who are standing with us in prayer and – especially in this pioneering season – also with finances. In order to cover our visa, flights and expenses we need a seed capital of approx. 10,000 EUR. We are so grateful and happy for everyone who is standing with us – in the vision and also by supporting us!
