Kids group 'Treasure Island'

Are you between 6-12 years old? If so, then Treasure Island is for you!

Our Kids group is like a 'Treasure Island', it’s a place where you get to discover God´s treasures. It’s so exciting to find the treasures God has put inside of you and also the treasure of knowing God personally and experience him.
You will experience that there’s more to life than you thought, and get to know the God who created you, loves you, and longs to see you happy.
You’ll get to experience this through short messages, having fun, playing games, eating snacks, and also go on outings together.

The Gospel – the Good News about Jesus – is so simple and powerful that even a child is able to grasp, accept and apply it. In scripture, Jesus quotes children to be examples of faith and trust. And that’s what it is all about: To BELIEVE in God the Father in heaven, to TRUST him, RECEIVE and APPLY his love. No-one is ever too little in order to do that!
For many years, we have worked amongst children emphasizing to make Jesus known amongst them – children from different social and cultural backgrounds as well as nations. Jesus loves children, he appoints and enables them to make history with God. We are endeavoring to attend to children, train and support them with all our heart – offering regular groups or leisure time activities, through kids’ parties, events or kids conferences. How powerful when children pray, worship and make Jesus known themselves. Everything is possible to them with their God!

Jesus called us to share the Good News empowered by the Holy Spirit everywhere- starting in places we live until the ends of the earth. Lüdenscheid is a city on hills, the so called “city of lights” from where the love of GOD shall flow into Germany and other nations. Lüdenscheid has a history of revival. In the Middle Ages many people received healing in the “Kreuzkapelle”, a chapel which was located in the centre of our city.
In the 50ies many people got saved during tent crusades and devotions in factories which were led by a protenstant pastor. In the 90ies we experienced a strong and powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our community. Since 1984 we as the” FCJG- Citymission” are following whole hearted Jesus great commission. Different groups of people and nationalities are involved in God's great plan. God loves to reveal himself to people. The message of the cross is up-to-date since more then 2000 years!!! Through intercession, worship, mercy ministries, outreaches and community life we want to stretch out for the citys' best so that people easily will have an revelation of our loving and great God.
